The Miss Michigan Outstanding Teen Scholarship Program
is the "Little Sister" to the Miss Michigan Scholarship Pageant.

Teen Eligibility
Be a United States Citizen
Meet character criteria as set forth by the Miss America's Outstanding Teen Organization
Contestants must be a minimum of thirteen (13) years of age on the first day of the State competition
Contestants may not have graduated from high school before the Miss America's Outstanding Teen National Finals, except for 16 year olds (or younger) who graduated early.
Contestants may not turn Eighteen (18) years of age on or before July 31 of the Year of the National Finals in which she will compete.

Private Interview - 30%
Talent - 35%
Evening Wear/On-Stage Question - 20%
Lifestyle and Fitness in Sportswear - 10%
Evening Wear/On-Stage Question - 5%

What clothing will I need to participate?
Interview Outfit - No business suits or pant suits. A "teen stylish outfit" is the preferred attire.
Your attire should reflect your personality. Opening Number Outfit to be announced.

Talent Outfit - Talent dress or outfit must be appropriate for the talent being perform.

Lifestyle and Fitness in Sportswear - Sporty work out appropriate attire of contestants choice.  Specific details will be given at orientation.

Eveningwear Wear or Evening Gown - Your evening gown should be age appropriate and floor length.

You will need a gown/dress to escort your princess - This will be announced at orientation
